The relationship between Cara and Russ has something the other needs, but they only realize how much once realities violently rewrite their dreams. Dreamscape Conspiracy was a blast to write, getting to know these two characters. From that I discovered there would be another book to continue where their story led me. And it did—three more times, actually.

I’ve written this book for use as a field guide of sorts to be used on the job. There are some best practices highlighted and other opportunities from which to flee. This is an exciting time for the “Point-of-Work” discipline, and this book is intended to smooth the transition into a productive future for up-and-coming Ninjas. Black pajamas and cheap sunglasses are optional, but they are very cool.
What truly sets this book apart is its ability to leave a lasting impact. The mind-blowing revelations and thought-provoking themes lingered with me long after I finished the book. Wise explores profound ideas while delivering an entertaining and thrilling story, making it a remarkable debut.
Dreamscape Conspiracy – Released 3/17/23 This is the first book that morphed into a series – Dreamscape Conspiracy. The author, Gary Wise, is a largely unsupervised corporate Learning & Development veteran courtesy of surviving twenty years in roles ranging from individual contributor to senior leadership. He spent an additional fifteen years as a hostage who now refuses to fade peacefully into retirement.
The spreadsheet is fairly intuitive; however, when all else fails, read the complete instructions found in Part 5 of “Confessions of a Performance Ninja” found on Amazon.com
“GREAT” things are popping up lately like the Great Resignation, Great Retirement, and the Great Reshuffle as several examples. I am not swayed by the hype because these all point to one common denominator – Change…and the need to refocus on LEADING it. It is my opinion that we are seeing side-effects surface in the form […]
I believe that if we desire performance optimization it should be at the most granular level – the individual worker. Can the Training team accomplish this? I would wager their resources are spread so thin already developing training courses their engagement is not on the table. Too granular! Too dynamic! Too immediate! Too out of scope!
Yes, I tend to take a hard line on “performance” in the flow of work versus “learning” in the flow or work, but isn’t performance the ultimate outcome we seek? Learning is not the end game…it’s a by-product of enabling performance…while learning at the Point-of-Work and during moments of need. If I’m mistaken on this bent of mine, why is there a “70” in 70:20:10?
