She Could Run, But Never Hide “Mirror Mirror”
Sandy’s attackers lay dead at her feet, leaving her as the only witness to something she could not explain… and the only suspect. She was in the middle of a possession she did not want, a double murder she did not commit, and in a fit of rage she threw the ancient tome that defined her possession at the mirror, shattering it. The book ricocheted off, smashing a wall lamp, spilling burning oil onto the floor, and setting the old carpet and wall coverings ablaze. The ancient Hawthorne House was a tinderbox, and she was lucky to escape alive with her best friend, Mel, who comforted her in her panic outside as the flames consumed the estate.
The mirror and the voice that had possessed her shattered; that cursed book, Mirror Mirror, was in flames, or so she thought. What could survive that inferno? And good riddance to the entity that ignited her rage despite coming to her rescue and killing her attackers. She could not be more overwhelmed… until she was.
Things were about to become hotter for Sandy than the flames that consumed every inch of Hawthorn House.
