One Halloween night, Sandy Tillman touched a book she was never meant to open.
Hidden inside the library of Hawthorne House—a centuries-old estate with a dead man in a secret room—an ancient tome called Mirror Mirror waited. The inscription inside made one thing clear:
“Whoever possesses this book shall have exclusive control of all reflective powers that flow forth when called upon in good stead by the righteous.”
Sandy possessed the book, but the inscription failed to reveal that the book possessed her.
When an entity from another dimension intervened to stop a violent assault at the Halloween party, it killed both attackers in front of her — leaving Sandy as the only witness — and the only suspect — and the only one able to see or hear the entity who was the real murderer.
What followed was worse than the murders.
