“Dead Thoughts,” the fourth book in the Dreamscape Conspiracy series, delves into how (or if) Dreamscape 3.0, the AI-driven dream-capture technology, can record brain activity during periods when an individual is not sleeping …but comatose or in a shallow state of unconsciousness and unable to speak. Could they experience dreaming outside REM sleep due to being unconscious? In a nutshell, that was the test underway using the newly upgraded 3.0 tech …until the patient died from their injuries and the heart stopped …and so did the test …until it didn’t.
Dreamscape 3.0 continued to record, capturing unexpected brain activity; dead thoughts that should not have been there.
