Gary Wise is an unsupervised Writer of Things living as a free-range author under the influence of a relentless Wench Muse. He’s a recovering Performance Consultant of 35+ years convinced retirement is unacceptable and has chosen to redeploy his remaining trips around the sun writing fictional thrillers with a twist of suspense, mystery, sci-fi, and some with paranormal interdimensional hijinks on the side, and not necessarily in that order or the same book.
His first book after becoming free-range was a non-fiction book, “Confessions of a Performance Ninja,” , where he encapsulates 35+ years of exposure to the thrills and spills of performance consulting in a corporate Learning & Development environment. The book combines best practices with locations he’s tagged as land mines to avoid…that he already found…the hard way.
The holistic discovery methodology he lives by targets performance challenges at “Point-of-Work. That is his initial target as performance ground zero.
Since jumping off the corporate busl, he has written five novels under the influence of his relentless Wench Muse. His first, “Mirror Mirror: Halloween Party of the Century,” served as validation for him to listen to Her and submit to Her influences. Giving in to Her, he wrote four more novels in a 4-book series, “Dreamscape Conspiracy,” soon to be a 5-book series with “Untethered” as the last book in the series…or maybe not. The Dreamscape story has legs and is as relentless as Wench Muse; I listen to Her and write.
He offers no excuses or apologies for his dry humor and twisted thoughts, often embedded throughout his stories. He loves the thrill of delivering a thrill in one of his stories and reads/writes accordingly, and no, he’s not a robot; he is 100% organic and not an AI, either.
He loves to write and willingly confesses, “I love nothing better than to embrace my relentless Wench Muse and disappear into a story with Her and often invade a character’s head or two until their stories are entirely told or lies properly placed.”

He lives in peace and is blessed with having enough…planted between corn and soybean in the rolling hills of southeastern Indiana with two lovely women, Lilly Girl & Boo-boo Kitty.
