Performance Consulting Road Map

As a special offering through Christmas, I am offering “Confessions of a Performance Ninja” eBook as a freebie.

By redeploying my time and efforts to evolve into being a Writer of Things, I’ve taken a rather extreme step by walking away from 35+ years of struggling as a Performance Consulting in the shadow of Learning and development. It was a shadow because performance consulting skill sets were not formal roles in L&D, where the focus was on ISD and training delivery talent versus sustaining measurable performance outcomes. I did not connect with that mentality, hence the struggle.

So I went covert with the Point-of-Work methodology, developing a Point-of-Work Assessment (PWA). Being covert implied adopting Ninja skills and becoming a shadow under the shadow.

Confessions of a Performance Ninja” was published after I left the corporate hamster wheel. The book is a field guide and journal of my 35+ years of swimming against the current status quo. Leaving the wheel and not looking back is selfish, so I’ve repurposed a new blog, “Learning By Living.

Also, I’m offering an early Christmas gift by making the eBook version FREE.

The paperback version is still available at $23.94 on Amazon. Personally, I prefer a separate book so I can make notes and jump around easily. The book was designed as a field guide, not a novel, although it tracks the story of developing a Point-of-Work discipline in the shadows.

If you want to remain in my orbit, I have opened an Author site at writerofthings.substack.com. I welcome you to subscribe for FREE  and continue to have access to posts and updates.

You’re on your own regarding the black pajamas and cheap sunglasses.

Take good care and Merry Christmas!
